I chose to work as a carer, as l love to talk and listen to old stories, and learn from others experiences. I love to help people with their needs, as the feeling is unique. I treat everyone as I will like to be treated in my vulnerable stage of life. Trying to give 100% to everyone when l am at duty, l consider myself to be a punctual, sensible and responsible person. I am human and know that making mistakes are part of life, I accept them, as they are part of my process to improve myself. My hobbies: l like to read, I love ice skating, and love nature. I don't like shopping or being late.

Hi, my name is Lynette. I’ve been a care assistant for 27 years now from the age of 15 it’s the first job I did after leaving school and I absolutely love it, hence why I’m still doing the job. I have experience of working in two nursing homes but this is my first role with Care with Pride, going into service users’ homes and I find it really rewarding. I’ve been part of the care with pride team for over 2 years now and I absolutely love it I find it so rewarding and I love spending time chatting with the service users about their past life stories.

Hi my name is Heather I have worked at Care with Pride for 4 years. I really enjoy making a difference to people's lives, and ensuring that they receive good quality care. My key focus when supporting others is to ensure I do it with care, compassion and respect, offering support and guidance without taking over, everyone is different, there is no one size fits all in my profession, I want to give everyone the best I can and leave them feeling happy. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, gardening and reading.

Hi my name is Yasmin, I have worked as a care worker with Care with Pride since 2017. I enjoy my role and being there for our clients at a vulnerable stage in their lives. Giving our clients the care they need and supporting them with day-to-day life. This job is extremely rewarding as you can have a major impact on people’s lives, not just our clients but their family members too, knowing they have care staff supporting their loved ones in the most person-centred way, respecting their wishes and hopefully going some way to making their day a little brighter, gives their loved one’s peace of mind.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holiday.
