Health Care Workers - Luton

We’re looking for enthusiastic Health Care Workers to provide a high standard of personal and social care to the elderly in Luton.

By doing this, you will encourage our service users to maintain their independence, choice, and dignity, to enable them to lead a full and active life.

Health Care Workers - Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth and other surrounding areas

£9 per hour and an enhanced rate of £10 per hour on weekends. There are also salaried positions available for applicants with experience.

  • £17,000 - £18,200 per annum full time (Working shifts of 7-2 or 4-10)
  • £9,000 - £12,000 per annum part time (Working shifts of 7-2 or 4-10)

20 pence per mile travel allowance for all drivers. What we offer:

  • Guaranteed hours for both part time and full time roles.
  • Great rates of pay and a flexible working arrangement (see above).
  • 21 days annual leave plus enhanced pay rates for bank holidays.
  • A full five day training course provided by our fully qualified accredited on-site trainer.
  • Payment of £200 for training upon completion of 3 month probationary period.
  • Promotion and progression opportunities within the company.
  • A complete DBS criminal record check, which is free of charge if you remain with the company for 3 months.
  • The opportunity to gain a level 2 and 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
  • 3 monthly supervision sessions.
  • A supportive and friendly management/on call team.

The role: Providing high quality promoting independence and allowing our clients to continue living at their own homes. Carers travel from home to home carrying out a number of care tasks within CQC guidelines helping clients with their day to day lives.This includes:

  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling
  • Meal provision
  • Light domestic duties (washing up etc.)
  • Assisting with medication
